Miss you.

Ego Nwodim has his reasons for this care Saturday Night Live. She just wanted something weird! Acting opportunities, that is. “It's like being married. I've never done this before, but this show was my longest relationship ever,” Nwodim said. Sherri Shepherd November 5th. “I'm not a commitment fan, but I heard that when you get married, you get that seven-year itch. And it's like, 'I want to date other people!' I want to see other privates!”
Nwodim fondly remembers his seven years in SNL. “I really learned a lot there and had a lot of fun,” she said. “I miss my colleagues, but I thought it was time to make room for something else.” Nwodim joined the cast in 2018 as a main player and moved to the main cast in 2020. She was the seventh black woman hired for the series, which Shepard noted (yay, Ego!) and lamented (ugh, underrepresentation). “It’s hard not to see any black women in the cast,” Shepard said, asking Nwodim if she felt “the weight of this whole portrayal” during the show. Nwodim felt “honored to be the seventh black woman in this cast”, noting that Punky Johnson joined the cast after her. “Who knows who else they will find as they explore and find other talent?” she said. While the comedian is glad she's been able to portray “a variety of characters, different types of characters, some people don't always get that nuance.” Curious who Miss Aggie is writing there, but anyone who can play Dionne Warwick And Disney mom has a range.
