Egobounds and Alibi Games have announced that their upcoming cool platformer Egging On will be released on November 6, 2025 for Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox Game Pass. The news was revealed during the ID@Xbox Fall Showcase, along with a new trailer giving players a closer look at the game's quirky yet complex world.
Developed by Polish studio Egobounds, Egging On is a Foddian-style platformer that puts players in control of a fragile egg determined to escape its fate. With a combination of precision and patience, players must jump, roll, and climb through a variety of challenging locations, including a farm, a store, a factory, and other dangerous areas. Every move counts, as one wrong move can send your fragile shell back to its original position.
The game balances both frustration and triumph, rewarding players for persistence in attempting to overcome increasingly difficult obstacles. Its physics-based controls convey the tension of navigation like a cracking egg, with equal parts humor and challenge.
