The Edmonton moose signed the abandonment of Justin Rankin to the two years of extension of the contract, associated him with the team until 2027.

The 28-year-old teenager rushed to 838 yards, caught 49 passes for 633 yards, and scored 12 general landings for 15 regular season games in 2025. Currently, it takes the second place in landings that gained third place in yards from the fight, and the first in large games that are defined as impulses of 20 or more yards or more than 30 or more yar.

“I am glad to stay in Edmonton for the next two seasons,” Rankin said in his statement. “I feel that the city and fans hugged me, and I like the direction of this team.”

A native of Oberlina, Ohio, joined the ELKS last season when he played in 11 games of a regular season as a beginner, rushing 765 yards, caught nine passes on 52 yards and scoring six launches. The product of the North -West State University of Missuri previously played in the covered football league, winning the championship with the Pantors of the Bay area in 2023.

“We are glad that Justin on board over the next two seasons,” said Edmonton General Director and Vice President Ed Hurve. “This signing is based on the impulse that we created this season, and we are glad to see how he will contribute to the success of our team in the future.”

On Saturday, October 11, Edmonton Elks (6-9) will be held by Vinnipeg blue bombers (8-7) at the Commonwealth stadium. Both teams say goodbye weeks with blue bombers, who are still in the thick of the Offe play, and moose, who want to preserve their weak hopes after the season.

The weather forecast in Edmonton requires a high level of 6 degrees with a 30 percent probability of a downpour. The game will be broadcast on TSN in Canada and CFL+ at the international level. Radio listeners can tune in to 880 CED in Edmonton and 680 CJOB in Winnipeg.
