Earfun engineers have been busy. They just updated the Air Pro 4+ headphones, developed some brand new clip-on headphones, and also created a new pair of in-ear headphones.
When we considered Earfun Air Pro 4+ headphonesWe really liked them, and now they are gaining new capabilities in the form of language translation using artificial intelligence. This is a free update with no ongoing usage fees.
The Air Pro 4+ launched in September with a retail price of $99.99/£89.99 (around AU$280), so while they're among the brand's pricier models, they're still extremely affordable. And there's a new white version to complement the existing black model.
The new AI update will be available starting January 6, 2026.
Earfun clips – cheap and cheerful
Earfun has also announced a new pair of ultra-affordable on-ear headphones, the Earfun Clip 2, priced at $79.99 (around £60/AU$120). Earfun calls them “the world's first high-resolution, AI-transferable Ear-Clip comfort headphones under $80,” and they'll be available to buy from March 2026.
The specs are very impressive for the price: the aforementioned AI-powered translation plus 12mm dynamic drivers, a “weightless” open-ear design, up to 40 hours of playback, and Hi-Res Audio certification with LDAC. We expect peace best open back headphones will be much cheaper in 2026, and this looks like a good start.
A second model is on the way: Earfun Wave Pro X. This is the successor to a very good model. Earfun Wave Pro Headphones from 2024, which we really liked and was considered our favorite budget option among best noise canceling headphones for a while until 1More Sonoflow Pro HQ51 overthrew him.
The bottom line is that Wave Pro X is Qualcomm's first dual-driver ANC headphones with Auracast, it has a dual-diaphragm design, adaptive ANC with 8 microphones, Bluetooth 6 with Google Fast connection, aptX Lossless and LDAC, and up to 100 hours of battery life. These banks were previously announced in September with an expected launch date in January, but it looks like developing this 8-microphone ANC system turned out to be a little more labor intensive than expected.
Wave Pro X will cost $129.99 (about £97 / AU$196) and will be available in June 2026.
