Appearing on the Dec. 9 episode of Sirius XM's The Smith Sisters Live, Dylan Efron asked the question on everyone's mind: What did Zac Efron do? In fact say?
The moment occurred on the Nov. 18 semifinal episode of Dancing with the Stars after Dylan Efron and his professional dance partner Danielle Karagach received their scores. Each of the judges gave the duo 9 points. which totaled 27 points out of 30 possible.
The hosts of “The Smith Sisters Live” said they were curious to know if Zac Efron said, “Is this a good result?” which some viewers took to mean the actor was unfamiliar with Strictly Come Dancing, even though his brother made it to the finale.
Dylan Efron, who ended up in fourth place this season from Dancing with the Stars said he asked his brother about the viral moment.
“I actually talked to Zach about it because I was just saying it because I thought it was funny. But then Zach said, “Oh, no.” He's like, 'They're interpreting it wrong,'” Dylan Efron said.
“And I can’t remember what he said, but I think he said he thought it was a really good dance. So he was like, 'Is this the highest score they could give?'” he added.
So at the end of the day, Zac Efron was just looking out for his little brother's best interests.
“I think he was bigger (so to speak), that he should have been taller or something,” Dylan Efron noted.
As a result, after seeing the moment go viral, Zac Efron became “defensive,” his brother said.
“Anyway, it was funny, but Zack got defensive. He was like, “No, they misinterpreted what I meant,” he said.
