An epic journey awaits in DuneCrawl
Indie game developer Alientrap has announced that Dune crawling now available on Steam. Players can finally venture into a vibrant desert world built on collaboration, exploration, and a truly unique way of traveling. You can purchase the game for just $16.99 with a 15% discount until January 19th.
Designed for one to four players, DuneCrawl is an online and local co-op adventure that puts players in the shoes of privateers traveling through the desert. At the heart of the experience is Dune Crawler. It is a huge walking crustacean, armed with powerful cannons and covered in maps pointing to lost treasure. Players work together to pilot this living war machine across vast, dusty seas, balancing movement, combat and exploration as part of a shared team.
The game world comes to life with lush, hand-drawn environments that contrast with the harsh deserts with pockets of color and life. As players travel from region to region, they gradually uncover the history and mystery of the dune crawlers themselves. Along the way, towns and settlements offer quests from a variety of memorable NPCs.
In DuneCrawler, combat and exploration go hand in hand. Players defend settlements from roving bandits and hunt for loot hidden in the sands. At the same time, you take part in equestrian scenes, riding armored scarabs. Team coordination is key, whether it's controlling the crawler's weapons during battles or deciding how to approach targets scattered across the landscape.
With a collaborative focus, a distinctive art style, and a creative central concept, DuneCrawl offers a cooperative adventure based on discovery, teamwork, and life on top of a giant crustacean roaming an ever-changing desert world.
