Toronto, October 6, 2025 (Globe Newswire) – DPM Metals Inc. (TSX: DPM, ASX: DPM) (“DPM” or “Company”) confirmed that she received a notification from the Ministry of Environment and Energy, that she canceled the environment for the Loma Larga project in Ecuador.
“DPM is committed to the highest standards of environmental management and transparency, and we strictly observe the laws in the countries where we work,” said David Rei, president and executive director.
“We are deeply concerned about the decision to cancel our environmental license, which was released in June after the strict government process on ensuring high Ecuadorian standards in the development of Larg scrap. We are sure that our environmental management plan and reliable environmental protection measures intended for Loma Larga meet these standards.
“Responsible control of water and a sensitive ecological ecological ecosystem near Loma Larga are key considerations in the project project. Water studies conducted by independent experts, DPM and regulators constantly demonstrate that the project will not have an adverse effect on water supply.
“In the light of this development, we evaluate all available options to maintain the cost and maintain optionality for our shareholders.”
