The Game Awards ceremony is just around the corner. It's an annual opportunity to celebrate the best the year had to offer and check out exciting new products. However, while the show is sure to be filled with all sorts of exciting new trailers to check out, The Witcher 4 will not be among them.
This harsh truth comes from none other than CD Projekt Red co-CEO Michal Nowakowski, who reached out to X to express his pleasure at the upcoming RPG's presence on the list of most anticipated games, as well as quashing hopes of a matching trailer.
Nowakowski wrote: “I'm thrilled to see The Witcher 4 nominated in the Most Anticipated Game category at The Game Awards. Thanks to everyone who has already voted – your support means a lot to us. We won't be adding any new content to TGA this year, but we're as excited as ever to watch the show and celebrate this amazing industry's great night with you all.”
Development of The Witcher 4 is in full swing. CD Projekt Red has hired new talent in recent months to support its eventual release.. We last saw the game in action back in June, although that demo may have had looked like the gameplay it was This is actually a representation of what the technology is capable of and is not representative of the final game. This is reported by CD Projekt Red. That being said, the performance shown during this tech demo is what the game strives for. and it really showcases The Witcher 4's northern setting..
Even without The Witcher 4, The Game Awards will be special. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has already broken records as the most nominated game of 2025and we have withdrawal of funds provided by the developer Megabonk Vedinad. This will be worth checking out next month.
