A senior White House official has confirmed to US media that Donald Trump is “hesitant” to commute the hip-hop mogul's sentence.
Sean “Diddy” Combs was sentenced Oct. 3 to four years and two months in prison and a $500,000 fine.
However, White House officials are reportedly urging the president not to commute his sentence, but that “Donald Trump will do what he wants,” the source said. in TMZ.
On Friday, the president also commuted the sentence of former Republican elected George Santos, who was serving time for financial crimes, immediately releasing him from prison.
P. Diddy has already asked for a pardon from the American President, as Donald Trump stated in an interview with CNN in early October.
Sean “Diddy” Combs' lawyer also reported last August that the hip-hop mogul had been in contact with the Trump administration about his possible pardon.
The White House Office of Public Engagement said the information was false, according to TMZ, which said the facts were true.
