The 79-year legend of country music postponed December concerts, telling the fans that she needed “several procedures” to cope with the continuing “health problems”.
“Last night I prayed all night for my sister Dolly,” Frida Parton wrote on Facebook. “Many of you know that recently she has been feeling in the best way.
“I sincerely believe in the power of prayer, and I had to ask the whole world that loves it, become prayer warriors and pray with me.”
Frida finished her message on an optimistic note.
“She is strong, they love her, and despite all the prayers offered for her, I know that everything will be in order with her,” she wrote.
