Dobes tomorrow against the Blue Jackets: Habs need him to pull out a big one

The Canadiens have lost five of their last six games.

But they don't have time to wonder… because the team will be in Columbus tomorrow night to face the Blue Jackets. The club announced that Jakub Dobes will get the start.

One thing is for sure: it would be great to see some good play from the Habs goaltender.

After all, it's been a while since we've seen one of the two goalies get off to a good start. Dobs has been absolutely brilliant in his last two games… And Monty is literally one of the worst goalies in the National League this season.

You can't make this up. And now it's up to Dobs to help the Canadiens get back to winning ways.

This would be a great opportunity for Dobs to make it big.

The Blue Jackets are not considered one of the top teams in the National League, currently sitting 12th in the East and 22nd overall in the NHL.

In other words, the game is doable. But Dobs has to make big saves at the right time, and that's the problem with Canadiens goalies right now…

Because good goalkeeping can bring a lot of benefits and on multiple levels.

The Canadiens have been having a tough time lately, with a lot of guys injured (Duch, Goulet, Newhook, Laine…) and the team's confidence level doesn't seem to be at its peak. It would be great to see the Habs get back swagger they had it early in the season… and maybe it will end tomorrow with a great performance from Dobs.

To be continued.

After a while

– Let's go!

– The baby is having fun.

– Great job.

– Great competition.
