Nintendo announced DK Island + DLC Emerald Rush for Donkey Kong Bananza There will be monthly time-limited events.
The first event is called “Chip Fever” and will take place from October 28 to November 4.

During each event period, you can complete a special “Emerald Rush” task, which changes the usual formula by setting some fixed conditions, such as emerald bonuses that you can get from fossils and bananadia gems. You will still be able to choose your Emerald perk from three options, but the options presented to you will remain the same during each run.
Reach challenge targets and you will be rewarded with certain character statues and Banandium Chips, which can be exchanged for standard statues. Don't worry if you don't get it the first time – you can try again as many times as you like during the event period!
The first Chip Fever event will take place in October 28, 1:00 a.m. PT / 4:00 a.m. ET. to November 3, 11:59 pm PT / November 4, 2:59 pm ET. During this time, players can fight their way through DK Island for the opportunity to collect the Enguarde and Kong Bananza statues.
