Washington defender Demon Williams Jr. announced on social media Tuesday night that he was entering the transfer portal, a move that comes just days after he agreed to return to the Huskies for the 2026 season.
“I have to do what’s best for me and my future.” Williams wrote.
Williams signed a contract to return to the Huskies last week, with sources telling ESPN's Pete Thamel that the deal was close to the best deal on the market. Sources told Thamel that Washington is willing to use all legal means to enforce the contract Williams signed.
