Demon Seed Is Aiming for a Q2 2026 Release

Demon Seed demo is on its way

Solo indie game developer Jaro of Wraith Studio has revealed that Demon Seed is scheduled to launch in the second quarter of 2026. A demo version of the game will also be released quite soon. You can already wishlist the game on Steam to be one of the first to experience this post-Soviet first-person survival shooter.

Demon Seed takes you to the initial phase of the apocalypse, where familiar streets have become hostile. You wake up in a city overrun by mindless demons that roam every corner, forcing you to search for supplies, explore abandoned buildings and find anything that can keep you alive. Travel builds your inner strength as much as your physical survival. It will help you develop hidden abilities while you navigate an environment that is constantly being destroyed.

The game offers a full-fledged co-op story campaign, which, upon completion, expands and opens up an endless mode in which the challenge changes with each playthrough. A separate Arena mode focuses on intense combat, giving you the opportunity to take on bosses and upgrade your gear with your friends. Each mode is designed to create a sense of progression that remains interesting over time.

It also provides varied and effective combat, combining close range strikes with a wide range of firearms. The manager faces issues of test timing, awareness, and resource management. Crafting and construction systems open up room for experimentation. And procedurally generated cities ensure that no two expeditions are the same. Together, these elements form a survival shooter that expands with each session and encourages different playstyles.

Demon Seed combines discovery, tension and collaboration in a world on the brink of collapse, offering a journey filled with action and atmosphere.
