Colorado Buffaloes and Deion Sanders Saturday's upset against teams ranked in the top 25 of the Associated Press poll ended with a 24-17 win over 22nd-ranked Iowa State.
Buffalo fans at Boulder Stadium spilled out of their seats onto the field after the victory, even though the announcer warned fans that the school could be fined by the Big 12 Conference for its role in storming the field.

Sanders was puzzled that celebrating would result in a fine.
“Is this a fine?” Sanders asked after the game. “Come on, man. This is wrong… I want to see the children rushing to the field. I really like it.”
The crowd immediately ran to midfield after Colorado star guard Kaidon Salter took the final knee to end the game.
“I mean, hats off to our security team. They do a good job getting me (to the locker room),” Sanders said. “But I like to see it. I really like it.”

Colorado could face a $50,000 fine for the incident.
“How’s that $50,000 for a rush?” Sanders said. “Wow. Crap. Sorry. Wow, 50 grand.”
