Deion Sanders laments lack of patience amid recent firings across college football

Sudden college football As a result of layoffs across the sport, Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders lamented the lack of patience in the world during a call with reporters on Tuesday.

LSU fired Brian Kelly on Sunday after the loss to Texas A&M. It was only the Tigers' third loss of the year. Kelly's dismissal follows the firings of Penn State's James Franklin and Florida's Billy Napier.

Sanders was asked about the lack of patience in college football, but he took a broader view and made some wild comparisons.

“Well, there is no more patience in this world. How can we be patient when we can call right now and order pizza delivery right here? You can call and have a ride waiting for you outside. Things happen fast in this country,” he said. “Everyone wants quick solutions, quick things.

You can come here straight because I don't know what and leave as fat as a Snickers. We live in a different country, man. Nobody has patience anymore. I understand that. Me too. I don't have patience either. I want everything done right now because I'm used to getting up and doing this work and you want to get results from the work you've done. It doesn't always work like that. That's a great question.”

Sanders is having a tough time at Colorado, his first year coaching the school without his son. Sheader Sanders as a defender. The Buffaloes are 3-5 on the season after losing to Utah 53-7 last weekend.

Colorado will come home to take on Arizona on Saturday.
