Defending Champion Oklahoma women’s gymnastics announces 2026 schedule

The Oklahoma women's gymnastics team, the reigning national champions, announced its schedule for 2026 on Tuesday.

Oklahoma begins its season Jan. 10 against LSU, UCLA and Utah at the Sprouts Farmer's Market University Quad in the Beehive State. And the Sooners open the Southeastern Conference schedule on Jan. 16 on the road against Missouri. The matchup will be the first time Oklahoma faces the Tigers in Columbia since 2012.

Next Friday, Jan. 23, the 2025 championship team will be honored at the Lloyd Noble Center during the Sooners' SEC home opener against Georgia. Next up is the most anticipated meeting on Feb. 6 when 2024 national champion LSU visits Lloyd Noble for the first time since 2014.

Both schools are again considered favorites for the 2026 title. Oklahoma returns No. 1 all-around gymnast Faith Torres and Americans Addison Fatta, Elle Muller and Lily Peterson. Coach KJ Kindler also signed the top recruiting class in the country.

Since 2014, Kindler and the Sooners have won seven national titles, including three of the last four. This season's schedule is designed to test Oklahoma ahead of the NCAA Tournament, which begins April 1. The full schedule can be seen below.
