While all episodes from the past season are available on Netflix starting December 31st, Netflix is announcing the release of a documentary. The Last Adventure: Behind the Scenes of Stranger Things 5, January 12, with a moving trailer.

Good news for viewers who are grieving for the characters and the universe of the series. Stranger Things: The creators offer a behind-the-scenes look at the final season of the hit series with a behind-the-scenes documentary.
Available January 12 exclusively on Netflix, the film will offer viewers a look at the years of effort and know-how that went into the final season of the Duffer Brothers' iconic series.
“Ten years after the destruction pop culture“Stranger Things returns with its final chapter,” the synopsis reads.The Last Adventure: Behind the Scenes of Stranger Things Season 5 “is a compelling behind-the-scenes story that follows the cast, creators and crew as they craft the final season and say goodbye to the series that has forever left its mark on them.”
The documentary, directed by Martina Radwan, is already bringing tears to the eyes thanks to a touching trailer in which we see the main cast cry while filming their final scene.
Fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at key scenes in season five, as well as witness unique moments between Matt and Ross Duffer and their crew.
“Writing each character's last words was really difficult,” we hear them say in the trailer.
“There is some debate about Eleven's fate. Is she really going to do this?” they ask themselves on camera.
“I’m not ready to let go,” actress Millie Bobby Brown also admits to us.
“Thank you for giving so much of yourself, for all the laughter and tears. We will always love you,” the touched filmmakers express to their team at the very end of filming.
Inspiration
The Duffer Brothers recently revealed that this happened while they were watching behind-the-scenes documentaries. Lord of the Rings, when they were children in Durham, North Carolina, when they began to believe in their dream of becoming directors.
“We saw how tense Peter Jackson was and said, 'This is a dream come true!' With the decline of physical media, these kinds of behind-the-scenes stories have all but disappeared,” the creators said. Stranger Things.
