PQube Company, LLC And KEMCO announced the release of Death Match Love Comedy! will be released on February 19, 2026. This upcoming visual novel combines quirky humor with a dark, occult twist to create a world where laughter and danger are never far away. The game will be available digitally on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox and Steam. The physical edition will also be released for Switch and PS5, so stay tuned.
Death Match Love Comedy is set in a universe created by religion, myth and history! follows Kei, an ordinary high school student who is faced with an unusual problem: if anyone confesses their love to him, he literally explodes. To break this strange curse, Kei must discover who is behind it and why, while traveling through a world filled with strange powers and unpredictable destinies.
Despite his predicament, Kay meets every disaster with his trademark humor. His light-hearted nature brings moments of comedy and warmth to even the most sinister encounters, giving the story a mixture of charm and tension that keeps players guessing what will happen next.
The game offers a branching narrative filled with unexpected twists and turns, where each decision can lead to a different outcome. Multiple routes and endings offer players the chance to help Kei survive his explosive curse, or risk seeing his fate take a less fortunate turn.
