Sword & Ax LLC, in collaboration with indie.io, announced that Dark Deity 2the highly acclaimed sequel to the indie tactical RPG. Dark Deitywill be released on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on November 7, 2025. After a successful debut on PC and Nintendo Switch, the game is ready to bring stunning pixel graphics, voice acting and deep tactical systems to console players.
Dark Deity 2 takes place 25 years after the first game. It returns to the realm of Verroa, once united by the Eternal Order but now under threat from a growing empire. Players will lead Gwyn and Riordian, descendants of the original heroes, and lead the Eternal Delegation through a holy war that will decide the fate of the kingdoms. Across 30 story chapters, every tactical decision and relationship will shape the future of the world.
With 45 branching classes and a selection of unique warriors, players can experiment with countless strategies and team combinations, from summoning crocodiles to mastering cosmic magic. Each battle offers both challenge and consequence, ensuring that every victory and defeat will leave a mark on history.
The sequel also expands on customization with a new campaign set that allows players to adjust difficulty, stack order, and more, making each playthrough unique. Includes a fully voice-acted campaign with performances led by Allegra Clarke (Apex LegendsJujutsu Kaisen, the game continues the series' legacy of heart, strategy and storytelling.
