NYCC attendees this weekend got their first look at the return of Alias Investments' top detective when Krysten Ritter made a personal appearance and challenge in the all-new Daredevil: Born Again season two trailer. The latest trailer showed several shots of Money, including Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Karen (Deborah Ann Woll) living happily together, but they are interrupted by many violent scenes and Jess visits Matt during his routine visit to church. From here, Jones could be seen dispatching goons with metal trays, as well as Matt in his crisp new black suit, suggesting a darker dance with the devil than before.
We're currently unable to view the new trailer since it hasn't been released online, but that didn't stop Ritter from sharing some interesting words about what kind of new season we can expect now that Matt has super-powered support.
“I have talking points and they say, 'Please don't say anything about Jessica Jones,'” Ritter told fans (via Entertainment Weekly). “I will say that Jessica is back and I'm excited to be in on the action and she looks cool as always.”
It's no secret that the woman who threatened to hit Matt so hard he could see would be back. especially since behind-the-scenes photos were taken during filming.. Following this, Cox and Ritter openly discussed the upcoming team-up, with the latter promising that fans would be “thrilled” to have her back.
She won't be the only one to make a surprise return to the series, however, as the footage also shows Elden Henson reprising his role as Foggy Nelson (presumably in flashbacks) as Matt prepares to go another round with former kingpin and new New York City mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), who is doing some tough training himself. We'll get to see who comes out on top in the upcoming season when Daredevil: Born Again returns to Disney+ in March 2026.
