We continue through the boxing area, walking the winding path along the crests (many of which are conveniently the size of curiosity). One thing that we follow our next place of training in one of the empty. Our last drive set us right in the middle of two such empty ones, which we called the “Laguna Escondid” and “Laguna Sokumpa”. Since we are following a good place to train, we still use our usual set of tools to continue the investigation of boxing structures.
This week we had six goals of contact science along the tops of the ridges that gave Mali and APXS a lot. Chemcam and Mastcam were also busy, and several Libs measurements from Chemcam and Mosaics from both goals, close and far. We are not only interested in the visualization of empty ones in order to cover our next site of the drilling industry, but also continue to explore the structure of the ridges and look further at more distant structures and boxes around us.
On Monday, I was in a shift as a scientific topic for the theme of environmental science (ENV). We are coming to an end Cloud season A little more than a week. As a result, we used the clouds as much as possible, while they are still here with our set of cloud films – shorter films about the Supreizon and Zenith, which we use to look at the properties of clouds directly above the head and directly above the horizon; a survey to see how the brightness of the sky and clouds changes with a direction that consists of nine cloud films throughout Rover; And observation of the high height of the cloud, which uses shadows, cast clouds, as its name suggests, derives the height of the clouds. As soon as the cloud season exceeds the number of clouds with water ice, which we see above, the gale crater decreases sharply, so we put off two longer observations over another year and simply use films about Zenith and Suprahorizon to monitor cloudy activity.
The end of the cloud season really leads to the beginning of the dust season, where more dust rises in the atmosphere, and the beautiful view of the crater, which we enjoyed, becomes a little more dangerous. We control this using our regular observations outside of view and Tau. We are also inclined to see more activity, such as dust devils, which we follow 360 degrees and special films. With a constantly changing atmosphere, there is always something to do ENV.
