Cult of Blood Has Released a New Announcement Trailer

Today Dusty Box presented the announcement trailer for its debut game Cult of Blood. The game immerses players in a hidden village dominated by a sinister blood cult, where every choice carries the risk of survival or becoming the final victim in the priestess's ritual to ascend as a goddess.

The announcement trailer paints a chilling picture of fog-shrouded streets, candlelit halls, and swampy ruins, seamlessly combining cinematic storytelling with intense gameplay. Players must navigate desperate hand-to-hand combat, scarce ammo, and careful resource management, all from a fixed camera angle reminiscent of classic survival horror. It evokes the fears of the early Resident Evil games, but at the same time introduces ritual horrors unique to the game.

Tension and decision-making are at the core of Cult of Blood. Healing is rare, encounters are brutal, and every step could prove fatal. Players face grotesque enemies, collect resources and bloody souls to upgrade weapons or acquire new equipment. The journey through the village gradually escalates into a climactic showdown with the cult queen, testing both skill and strategy.

The story follows a police officer as he investigates disturbing reports in a village seemingly frozen in time. What begins as a routine investigation quickly turns into horror when the officer encounters a cult of a priestess seeking divine ascension. The villagers, stripped of their souls, bend to the cult's will, creating a nightmare both human and supernatural. Inspired by true events but reimagined through a dark fantasy lens, the story explores the struggle between light and darkness, forcing players to either destroy the cult or succumb to its horrific rituals.

Cult of Blood is currently in development and will be released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox next year.
