Cognoggin Games has released a “Full Content Update” for Crush the Industry, which is now available on Steam for both Windows and macOS. To celebrate the occasion, the studio is offering 75% off from November 8th to November 22nd. The game will also be featured on the Steam homepage as a daily offer on November 8th.
The latest update expands the game with two new boss encounters, new unlockables, a random event, and several balance improvements. These additions mark a major step for the quirky roguelike deck builder that satirizes life in a chaotic game studio.
Taking inspiration from Slay the Spire, Earthbound, and workplace comedies, Crush the Industry challenges players to climb the ranks of an eccentric AAA developer. Each run challenges players to build a deck of skills, unleash clever combinations of talents, face absurd office dangers, and maintain their sanity while climbing the corporate ladder.
The game features over 200 skills and talents that offer endless possibilities for development. Each playthrough unfolds differently, offering new challenges and results. Its inventive mechanics, such as an ever-changing health system, timed attacks, and sanity effects, add distinct layers of strategy to the roguelike formula.
Players will experience over 40 unique battles as they take on toxic coworkers, iconic creatives, and bizarre office monsters. With 12 unlockable difficulty levels and over 50 additional skills, consumables, and boss options, the game rewards persistence and experimentation.
