Wes Anderson fans can save money on the recent Criterion Collection box set, which includes 4K UHD remasters of 10 of the auteur's films. Wes Anderson's The Criterion Collection Blu-ray Editions:
Wes Anderson's films have a distinct look. The director often uses the central frame to tell the story, giving his projects a sense of theatricality and smallness, filling each scene with props and costumes that create a chic, retro-craft atmosphere. The soundtracks are also heavily inspired by the past, as Anderson often draws music from the 1960s and 1970s to complement the scenes. Anderson also directed two stop-motion animated films included in this collection, which showcase his quirky directing style.
The Wes Anderson Archive isn't the most expensive box set in the Criterion Collection, and is 50% off. This honor goes to a huge CC40: Criteria Collection.
