New heists await in Crime Boss: Rockay City
INGAME STUDIOS and 505 Games have released update 18 for their crime shooter. Crime Boss: Rockey City. This latest update adds an exciting new mission, gameplay changes, and important improvements as part of the current 2025 roadmap. The highlight is Afterburner, a powerful bank heist that gives players access to a decommissioned jet engine, the perfect tool for breaking open vault doors and stealing unimaginable riches. On the chaotic streets of Rockey City, everything is normal.
Beyond the main mission, Update 18 expands the roguelike experience with thirteen new elite boss bonuses, giving players more ways to improve their skills. The update also improves the character wheel, now displaying additional information about bots and teammates for both hosts and clients. Players will also benefit from clearer stealth strike indicators on the HUD, which will show exactly what triggered the detection.
The patch also brings several key gameplay improvements. The developers have rebalanced the roguelike's bosses to improve difficulty and pacing, and now provide immediate feedback when clean executions or hits fail. They also adjusted explosives to reduce damage to allies, making co-op play less challenging and more strategic.
Update 18 continues to strengthen the game's cross-play ecosystem, bringing together Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox and PlayStation players. With a new heist, deeper progression system, and improved feedback mechanics, Crime Boss: Rockay City continues to evolve as one of the most unpredictable and fun crime sandboxes available today. full patch notes for update 18 are available on the game's official website on Steam.
