Commanders’ Treylon Burks makes incredible one-handed TD catch

Washington commanders Wide receiver Treylon Burks took the NFL world by storm Sunday night with an incredible one-handed touchdown against the Denver Broncos.

Commander's Defender Marcus Mariota led the team down the field at a speed that was about to break the 5-minute mark. On the 10th play, he threw a pass to Burks in the corner of the end zone. Burks raised his right hand and caught the ball over Broncos cornerback Riley Moss.

Burks brought the ball down for the go-ahead touchdown. The Commanders led 14-13.

NFL fans' jaws dropped after watching the game. Burks' catch was quickly compared to that of the former New York Giants star. Odell Beckham Jr. taken against the Dallas Cowboys in 2014.

These are the plays Burks was expected to make regularly when Tennessee Titans selected him in the first round of the 2022 draft. He was drafted 18th overall by Arkansas, but his time with the Titans didn't go as planned. He scored only one touchdown in 27 games.

Burks' appearance for the Commanders on Sunday was just his third game with Washington. He had four catches for 72 yards as the team entered the game.
