The first weekend of the College Football Playoff is over, and we've cut the number of teams remaining to win the national title from 12 to eight.
No. 8 Alabama started its first-round weekend with a bang on Friday, erasing a 17-0 deficit and stunning No. 9 Oklahoma 34-24. The first road win in College Football Playoff history earned the Crimson Tide a meeting with top-seeded Indiana in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day.
No. 10 Miami improved things for the road team on Saturday with a 10-3 win over Texas A&M. The Hurricanes kept the Aggies out of the end zone and capped the game in style with a last-minute interception to earn a matchup with No. 2 Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl.
This was where the luck of the visiting teams ended. Ole Miss throttled American champion Tulane for the second time this season with a 41-10 victory that kicked off the Pete Golding era.
The Nightcap followed a similar pattern, with Oregon running roughshod on offense in a 51-34 win over James Madison. The Ducks scored on their first five possessions and never looked back.
Ole Miss will tie a rematch with Georgia in the Sugar Bowl, the only team to beat the Rebels in the regular season. Oregon will face Texas Tech in the Orange Bowl in a matchup that will feature two “new money” college football programs.
Below you'll find all the information to watch every game, from the four first-round games played on campus to the CFP National Championship.
