At the right moment the camera turned to Avengers actress who has a son together Cosmo3 years old, with Colin and also mother of a daughter Rose10 years, with ex-husband Romain Dauriac– as she stood, clearly shocked by the joke, and uttered the words: “Oh my God!”
“No, no, I'm just playing, baby,” Colin continued, reading the joke from the cue cards and laughing. “You know, I don’t go downtown.”
A few months later 41-year-old Scarlett spoke about her internal reaction to the sharpness.
“I just can’t believe they went there,” he said. Jurassic World the star said InStyle in an interview published on March 11. “It was so vulgar. It was so rude. It was truly disgusting. And kind of old school gross.”
And even Colin admitted that perhaps the joke had gone too far..
“I think I have problems with a lot of people,” he said on air. The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in January. “Scarlett was genuinely shocked.”
“I was obviously surprised by everything,” he continued. “But they warned her and said, 'Hey, do you mind if Michael makes a vagina joke at some point?' and she was like, “Sure, I’m open to it.”
And although he didn't know where the joke was going since it was his first time reading it live, he immediately knew it would raise eyebrows.
As Colin explained, “These graphics were created for Arby's, and so Scarlett backstage said, 'Oh my God, this is what this is.'
