COGconnected GOTY 2025 – Sexiest Character of the Year
Our annual COGconnected GOTY awards wouldn't be complete without the juiciest category of them all: Sexiest Character. This category reflects on which video game character brings the right amount of sexuality to the game. Of course, such visual pleasure can be very subjective, which is why we had such a large number of applicants this year.
In 2024our sexiest character was Eva (Stellar Blade), followed by Tifa (Final Fantasy VII Rebirth) and Kazuma Kiryu (Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth). In 2023Our sexiest character was Karlach (Baldur's Gate 3), followed by Cammy (Street Fighter 6) and Black Cat (Spider-Man 2).
Now let's see who is in the top ten sexiest characters of 2025, starting with number 10.
10 – David “Section” Mason (Call of Duty: Black Ops 7)
David “Section” Mason, Call of Duty: Black Ops alum Alex Mason is back in the game Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Mason leads JSOC Spector One on a whirlwind journey with Black Ops 2 villain Raul Menendez. But everything is not as it may seem. David “Section” Mason is played by Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes, This Is Us), who is quite the handsome devil in his own right.
9 – Chole “Karma” Lynch (Call of Duty: Black Ops 7)
Chloe “Karma” Lynch lends her support to David Mason and Spector One Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. She can also be played in multiplayer mode and is a joy to watch.
8 – Higgs (Death Stranding 2)
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach The villain Higgs looks quite functional. Shaved eyebrows, eyeliner, unusual makeup. He may not be crazy about Sam, but he has his fans.
7 – Polina (Mario Kart World)
World of Mario KartThe band's regular vocalist, Polina, clearly loves style. Just look how she rocks the leather outfit! She makes the catwalks look good.
6 – Goro Majima (Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii)
Like a Dragon: Yakuza Pirate includes the greatest treasure of all – a pirated version of Goro Majima. Sexy stands still!
5 – Vicious (Dispatching)
Former criminal turned superhero SendThe half-devil Malevola from the series is a cunning assistant in the Superhero Dispatch Network.
4 – Lara Croft (Tomb Raider IV-VI update)
The first lady of the gaming industry is back in the top 10 thanks to her renewed return to Tomb Raider IV-VI Update. I don't have a crystal (dynamic) ball, but I'm willing to bet that we'll see Lara Croft return to this sexiest characters list in 2026 and 2027 with her pair of upcoming games.
3 – Donkey Kong Bananza
Donkey Kong made a surprise return to starring role with the release Donkey Kong Bananza for Nintendo Switch 2. He may only like bananas, but we all have a soft spot for him.
2 – Aphrodite (Hades 2)
Aphrodite returns to the underworld. Hades II. The Goddess of Love certainly has some wonderful gifts, and she is more than willing to share them with Melinoea.
1 – Moon (Claire Obscurus: Expedition 33)
Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33 is no stranger to winning awards in 2025, so it makes sense to include him on our list of the sexiest characters of 2025. As an elemental mage, she has the ability to control various elements of the elements, such as ice and fire, but apparently she can also control our hearts.
Honorable Mentions
There were a few sexy characters this year that didn't make the top ten. In the Sexiest Character of 2025 category, we honor C. Viper (Street Fighter 6: Year 3), Rhea Ripley (WWE 2K25), Jane (Space adventure Cobra: Awakening) and Justine (Hotel Barcelona).
