Code Vein II Unveils New Walkthrough Trailer and Character Creator Demo Release Dates

Get ready to step into the world of Code Vein II

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. presented a new trailer for the game Code Vienna II as well as details of the upcoming demo of the character creation program. The demo will be available on January 22 on Steam, and on January 23 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc., CODE VEIN II will be released worldwide on January 30, 2026. Pre-orders are now open on all platforms.

The newly released trailer focuses on Revenant Jose Anjou and takes players 100 years into the past. In this early era, Ghost Hunter teams up with Jose to investigate the crisis surrounding the Sunken City. Her journey is full of regrets and responsibilities, gradually revealing the emotional baggage she carries. The trailer introduces the Sunken Pylon, a massive dungeon that plays a central role in the efforts to cleanse the city and uncover the truth about its fall.

The combat footage shows seven different types of weapons, from fast twin blades to a heavy strike halberd. The video also demonstrates the affiliate system, including the recovery offer mechanics. This feature allows teammates to revive a fallen Ghost Hunter at the cost of temporarily losing their ability to fight.

Ahead of release, players can explore the game's extensive customization tools in the character editor demo. With 64 save slots carried over into the full game, players can fine-tune their body type, facial features, hairstyles, accessories, makeup and more. The demo also includes access to the MagMella Institute Hot Spring for lighting previews, as well as a photo mode for capturing finished projects.
