Cloudheim Has Released the ‘Frostfall’ Seasonal Winter Update

Winter is here in Cloudheim

Cloudheim has released a seasonal winter update for Frostfall, which is now available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Developed by Noodle Cat Games, this free, limited-time event will arrive with Patch 5. It brings a festive twist to the physics-based RPG, adding new challenges, themed content, and generous seasonal rewards.

The winter event Frostfall transforms the world of Odin Shell, creating a wintry atmosphere. It introduces an entirely new dungeon filled with new encounters and festive enemies. Players will be able to explore this new area, discovering gifts, exclusive seasonal loot, and other surprises scattered throughout the event. Building on the foundations laid previously at Pumpkin Fest, Frostfall expands the seasonal experience with depth, variety and complexity, offering something new for returning players and newcomers alike. The update also introduces Hango, a brand new character that is automatically unlocked and available to all players during the event.

Beyond the seasonal content, Patch 5 is heavily focused on improving the overall Early Access experience. One of the most notable additions is cross-world experience progression, which allows hero and class experience earned in one world to carry over when joining another. This change makes co-op play smoother and progression more consistent. The update also adds a pause feature and redesigns the stats screen to make character information clearer and easier to understand.

Further changes include clarifying the difficulty and scaling enemy HP, allowing for a more balanced level of difficulty in the game. Additional world star sources have also been introduced to help players transition more smoothly from Greenvor to Frostwaldr. Together, these updates make Frostfall both a festive treat and a significant step forward for Cloudheim.
