Dome Center LLC, which owns the Sunset Boulevard property where the iconic movie theater sits, has filed a lawsuit application for a conditional permit to sell alcohol for on-site consumption at the Cinerama Dome theater and its adjacent multiplex on Tuesday.

According to the application filed by company representative Elizabeth Peterson-Gower of Place Weavers Inc., the Dome Center is seeking a new permit that will “allow for the continued sale and dispensing of a full line of alcoholic beverages for on-site consumption in conjunction with the existing Cinerama dome theater, 14 screens in the Arclight Cinemas theater complex and a restaurant/café with two outdoor dining terraces from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. daily.” This will be an extension of the current 10-year permit, which expires on November 5th.
