Robert Irwin became a real star Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars his moves and physique led to several male striptease companies asking him to join their troupes.
After Episode four of Dancing with the Stars Broadcast on October 7, Irwin chatted backstage with “Entertainment Tonight” about his success on the show and confirmed that Chippendales had approached him about collaborating.
“Is it true that Chippendales approached you about hosting the show?” the reporter asked, and Irwin immediately started laughing. Meanwhile, his dance partner of Witney Carson stood next to him in bewilderment.
“Are you kidding me?” she asked as Irwin pulled himself together.
The 21-year-old wildlife conservationist said: “It's true,” before revealing he had received another surprise offer.
“Aussie boys too,” he continued. “Thunder Down Under reached out to us too.”
Unfortunately for Chippendales and the Australian team Thunder From Down Under, Irvine is only interested in showing off his moves on the ballroom floor.
He said, “All power to them. Not to me. Not now. I'll take my shirt off from time to time…”
Carson then interrupted and said, “No, he won’t.”
Irwin said that in several of the shirtless dances on the show, he draws the line before swaying his hips.
“These hips don't lie! Oh!” he added before the clip ended.
Irwin has been showing off some impressive dancing since the start of the season, but he really caught the attention of the judges and viewers during his dance on week three of TikTok Night. Performing salsa with Carson to Tommy Richman's hit “Million Dollar Baby,” Irwin tore off his shirt. When the judges criticized his moves, Bruno Tonioli playfully told him to keep dancing shirtless.
After the episode aired, Carson jokingly said that she regretted highlighting Irwin's abs in a dance number.
“I had so many moments of regret. I thought, 'Did I make the right choice by taking his shirt off?'” she said.Entertainment tonight”
But Irwin liked the praise.
“It’s flattering,” he told the publication. “I'm actually blushing a lot.”
He shared that he felt confident while dancing.
“That's what I wanted. On stage I was like, you know what, I want to show this new side. I want to own it. I want to give it a little flair, and it was so much fun to do that,” he said.
Irwin added that this was a new experience for him.
“I've never been able to do that. I've never had to just say, 'You know what? I'll be cool. I’ll just come and rock it,’ and it was fun,” he said.
