Another team. Another time. But he returned to the crime scene for Chargerswho died three years ago from Comeback with 27 points from a playoff loss in Jacksonville.
The Jaguars started 4-1 this season but lost three of their last four to return to the fold. They are without star rookie Travis Hunter, who had surgery this week and will miss the rest of the season.
The team plays hard for a first-year coach. Liam Cohenwho said he wants fullback Trevor Lawrence to “cut him loose and let him rip” when he sees opportunities on the field.
After starting the season 3–0, the Chargers have lost three of four but are now riding another three-game winning streak. Justin Herbert excelled at times despite being the highest-scoring quarterback in the NFL.
Charger protection comes out of the gem of a performance in win over Pittsburgh. Aaron Rodgers looked 41 and at one point the Steelers were 0-for-9 on third down.
How the Chargers can win: As usual, protect Herbert behind a patchwork offensive line. Jacksonville has struggled to put pressure on quarterbacks, especially with Travon Walker not at full strength and a battered secondary. Take the ball to Ladd McConkey And Oronda Gadsden IIwith some Keenan Allen mixed up. Don't let the Jaguars control the game from the run.
How the Jaguars can win: Jacksonville can look like a playoff team when it's winning at the line of scrimmage, but tends to crumble when it gets pushed around. The Jaguars need to get going early and make long drives because they don't have many explosive plays. Get to Herbert quickly before he has a chance to attack this weakened secondary player. Delay Herbert too, because he can burn you with his feet.
