LG makes some of the best tvs on the market – I use LG C2 OLED for several years now, and I am still amazed at the picture quality every time I sit down to watch a movie or TV show. The company disclosed its W6 Wallpaper TV at CES 2026. With a slim design, wireless connectivity, and the ability to display images digitally, LG Wallpaper TV allows you to place your TV in your living room while maintaining a clean setup that doesn't default to making it the center of attention. Additionally, improvements to the panel make it more suitable for living rooms, while theoretically maintaining excellent video quality.
As the name suggests, the W6 Wallpaper TV is very thin, measuring just 0.35 inches (9mm) thick. It's designed to be mounted flush against the wall, so if you mount the TV on the wall, it shouldn't protrude too much. The LG W6 Wallpaper TV features a wireless connection box for audio/video inputs such as HDMI ports that can be placed up to 30 feet away. So you can leave your home theater devices… streaming devicesgame consoles and 4K Blu-ray players – tucked away in the media cabinet to create a clutter-free living room.
Although the LG W6 Wallpaper TV has a wireless connectivity unit, the company claims that it provides 4K audio and video without visual loss. For gamers, W6 Wallpaper can run games at up to 4K resolution, an incredibly fast 165Hz refresh rate, and an ultra-low 0.1ms pixel response time. If you have a computer capable of running games at high resolutions and high frame rates, the W6 should be more than up to the task. Additionally, it should pair well with consoles such as PlayStation 5, Xbox series X/S And Nintendo Switch 2.
LG claims the W6 is “reflection-free” and has the lowest reflectivity of any 2026 panel. If you use your TV in the living room or other area with a lot of ambient light, the W6 could be an improvement over previous LG OLED models. The W6 is supposed to be 3.9 times brighter than the average OLED display on the market thanks to LG's Brightness Booster Ultra and Hyper Radiant Color technology.
Gallery LG Plus The service allows you to display artwork on your TV, so you can use the app to disguise your wall-mounted TV as a painting or photo. Gallery Plus is a paid service, but a free lite version is available. The W6 Wallpaper TV is available in 77 and 83 inches.
On paper, the LG W6 Wallpaper TV seems to strike the balance to appease home theater enthusiasts who want a discreet setup in the living room or family room. Notably, LG also introduced TV Gallerywhich aims to compete with other art televisions such as Frame TV Samsung. But this is Mini-LED, not OLED, so you won't get the best picture quality, even if it's still stable.
