Cave Crave Just Received an Arcade Mode and New Horror Map

Explore the depths at Cave Crave

3R Games has released a major update for its virtual reality adventure game. Cave Thirst. The update brings a new fast-paced game mode and a new unsettling horror experience. It's now available on Meta Quest, with PSVR2 support on the way. The SteamVR version is also close to release as the PC port enters its final testing phase before launching in the coming weeks.

The update introduces Arcade Mode, a new take on the underground climbing and exploration of Cave Crave. This mode focuses on speed and precision, turning every descent into a race against the clock through challenging cave routes. Players can race to beat their personal bests or compete against others by passing checkpoints, climbing walls, and running through tunnels. The combination of parkour-like movements and time-based challenges transforms a serene caving journey into an intense and competitive experience.

Along with the new mode comes the Abyss, a terrifying addition to the game's horror mode. Taking inspiration from Lovecraftian horror, Abyss takes players deep into ancient, pitch-black tunnels. Here, every sound and shadow suggests something lurking just beyond the line of sight. The atmosphere is highly charged with psychological tension, offering a mixture of thrill and fear as players uncover secrets buried underground.

With this update, 3R Games expands Cave Crave into new territory, combining fast-paced gameplay with bone-chilling exploration. Whether players are aiming for glory or venturing into the dark unknown, the latest update promises to provide both challenge and thrill.
