Offset's cryptic message comes just days after Cardi confirmed on Nov. 13 that she and her boyfriend of over a year had welcomed their baby boy.
“I brought new music and a new album into the world!” Cardi wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “I have a new baby in my world and another reason to be the best version of me, another reason to love me more than anyone else or anyone else so I can continue to give my children the love and life they deserve.”
And while Cardi has previously said she loves texts from exes when they want a second chance, she and Offset are unlikely to go another round.
“It was great while it lasted,” Offset, 33, said. Associated Press August 16. “This shouldn't be a topic for either of us anymore. It's a closed book.”
As he puts it: “It's all love and peace. I just finished the album on this, just to end this chapter, because it's time to move on, I'm done with it.”
Likewise, Cardi, also 33, isn't letting her past get in the way of her future with the New England Patriots player.
“I would get married again,” the rapper, who sparked romance rumors with Stefon back in February, said during a Sept. 16 appearance on Today. “I believe in love. I'm like a hopeless romantic.”
