NEW WESTMINSTER, British Columbia, Nov. 14, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Costco Wholesale today opened its eighth Canadian location located at 1085 Tanaka Court, north of Highway 91A near Boyd Street. The 146,000 square foot facility created 290 jobs and unprecedented amenities for local businesses.
This new business center is the first of its kind in British Columbia. This is part of Costco's national expansion plan, with plans to open additional Costco Business Centers across Canada in the coming months.
Open to ALL Costco members, the Business Center concept is very different from a traditional Costco warehouse, with more than 70 percent of product offerings unique to the Business Center and designed to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes.
The new New Westminster Costco Business Center will feature more than 3,000 high-quality products designed for restaurants, grocery stores and offices – from bulk food items to commercial kitchen and cleaning supplies, office furniture, coffee and everything in between. Some of the promotions offered at the New Westminster Business Center during opening week include: $110 Off One Eurodib Power Induction Cooker, $100 Off Agropur 25kg Unsalted Butter Block, $50 Off Panasonic Automatic Commercial Rice Cooker, $30 Off Sagetra Triple Tier Wire Basket Trolley, $25 Off San Daniele Prosciutto Unit, $20 Off 16 Liter Jar of Real Hellmann mayonnaise and a number of other products exclusive to this warehouse opening.
It has an impressively large refrigerator area of almost 14,000 square feet and a dedicated outdoor loading area. With its own fleet of 8 trucks, Costco Business Center offers next day delivery within a designated delivery area that extends throughout the city.
Business owners will find the same items both in store and online by visiting Costcobusinesscentre.ca, business hours are Monday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Membership
Costco Wholesale is open to members only. The annual fee is $65 for a Business Membership, $65 for a Gold Star Membership and $130 for an Executive Membership. All Costco Wholesale memberships include a FREE Family Card and are valid at all Costco locations worldwide.
For an annual fee of $130/year, Costco also offers an upgraded Executive Membership that includes 2% rewards (up to $1,250/year) on all eligible Costco purchases and a FREE Family Card (must be 16+). Those who choose the Executive Membership option receive exclusive product offers, as well as special benefits on travel insurance, payment processing, portable and self-storage and more.
Costco cardholders, of whom there are currently more than 17 million in Canada, can also shop at Costco.ca, where they will find thousands of additional out-of-stock items. Costco.ca also offers same-day grocery delivery.
