Turkish star Can Yaman has signed up for a Spanish-language romantic thriller series. The as-yet unnamed project will be produced by a Madrid company Sequoia Studios and reach eight episodes. This will be Yaman's first Spanish-language project and the first series filmed in Spain.
Here's what we know about the plot. The series follows a secret agent with an impeccable reputation who is betrayed and becomes the most wanted man in Spain. As he struggles to clear his name and expose those intent on committing a billion-dollar heist from the government's treasury, he will discover that love may be his greatest weakness… or salvation.
Eduardo Galdo (ur.Crossroads) came up with the idea and will executive produce alongside Lele Portas (Wounds). Angela Obon4 stars) and Daniel Corpas (When no one sees us) – writers. The title and other cast, which is expected to be mostly Spanish, will be announced soon.
