Cambridge United are bracing for some bad news on Kylian Kouassi after he picked up a hamstring injury while playing for the team. goalless draw with Barnet.
The 22-year-old forward had to leave the field in the 50th minute of Saturday's match at Cledara Abbey Stadium and was replaced by Louis Appere.

“It doesn't look good – we'll have more helmsman this week,” said boss Neil Harris. BBC Radio Cambridgeshire reported.
“We were thinking of Kilian and Louis as a couple – from the hour mark of course – so we were just getting Louis ready and Kilian fell and that ruined our plan.
“The main emotion is disappointment for Kilian personally, but also for us as a group.”
Harris hinted that the number of injuries in the squad will mean further recruitment during the January transfer window.
“We will have to find solutions in the coming weeks,” he said.

“We are a work in progress as a group and transfer windows will help your work and we need them now.”
Cambridge have not won any of their last three league games (with two draws and a defeat) and sit 12th in League Two, but are just three points away from a play-off place.
Harris was unhappy with their overall performance against Barnet, despite being pleased with the clean sheet.
He added: “We were miles away with the ball and our movement was difficult at times.
“It was our biggest game of the season, it was great to see so many fans here supporting the team and we didn't do enough – that's my disappointment.
“This was our poorest [home] performance so far.”
