Enter the Western Front in Call to Arms: Gates of Hell
Digitalmindsoft and Barbed Wire Studios have reached a milestone: Call to Arms: Gates of Hell has sold over a million copies. Adding to this achievement is the strong performance of the DLC, made possible by the dedicated work of the global community that continues to support the series. To mark this occasion, the developers are introducing their most ambitious expansion yet, called Finest Hour.
Finest Hour shifts the action to the Western Front, beginning with the rapid advance of the Blitzkrieg in France and moving to the final battles fought deep inside Germany. The expansion highlights key moments in the British Empire during World War II, presented with detailed historical accuracy and designed to immerse players in every stage of the conflict.
The expansion brings the biggest content update in the franchise's history. Over a thousand new environmental objects expand the capabilities of the Netherlands and Flanders, while one hundred and seventy new vehicles and an extensive collection of model people and equipment expand the powers of the Commonwealth and Germany. The Commonwealth becomes a fully playable faction in both Conquest and multiplayer during the early, mid, and late stages of the war.
Finest Hour also features two significant campaigns. The Commonwealth storyline includes seven missions and three single-player battles. The German campaign adds five missions and one additional battle. New Battlegrounds expand the gaming experience with twenty multiplayer maps and twenty-five Conquest maps.
With this important new chapter and a growing community-supported legacy, Call to Arms: Gates of Hell moves forward with renewed vigor.
