California Democrat campaign website congressional candidate mistakenly promoted support for U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett by using a photo of another black woman instead of the Texas Democrat.

Esther Kim Waret's website removed the image Thursday afternoon after Fox News Digital inquired about the error.

“Racist. Arrogant. Completely out of touch with reality. Good thing the hate filled and bigoted @estherkimvaret is not coming anywhere near Congress,” Christian Martinez, National Hispanic Press Secretary for the National Republican Congressional Committee, wrote on X.

Waret, owner of the Various Little Fires chain of art galleries in Los Angeles, Dallas and Seoul, is trying to unseat Rep. Young Kim, a Republican who represents California's 40th Congressional District, which includes parts Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino County.

Waret, the child of Korean immigrants, called the South Korean-born Kim an “ESL puppet” in a social media post criticizing the Trump administration's immigration policies.

“My story is not unique. This is the story of many Korean Americans and immigrants across the country who are proud Americans and making our communities better every day. I am proud of my accent and will continue to use my voice to protect the American Dream for future generations.” – Kim previously said Fox News Digital.

Fox News Digital has reached out to Vareth's campaign and Crockett's office.

In August, the NRCC called Vareth “upset” after she criticized Kim's English speaking skills. She also allegedly targeted Martinez personally, telling him to “prove that you are a REAL Latino,” the group said.

Kim also faces a Republican primary challenge from Rep. Ken Calvert, and the two will compete for the reconfigured district.

District boundaries were changed after voters approved statewide redistricting measures passed in November were aimed at creating more Democratic-leaning congressional seats.
