Concord, NC – Bubba Wallace says that his disappointment with Denny Hamlin continued for a week until they met on Saturday morning at Charlotte Motor Speudway.
Hamlin and Wallace raced for leadership in the last round About the race last weekend to Kansas, more, when Hamlin climbed the highway, forcing Wallace into the wall. Chase Ellitt drove inside to win and go to round 8.
Wallace clearly made it clear on Saturday in Charlotte that he was not upset because he was driving him for victory, even with Hamlin, a co-owner of Wallace’s racing car 23xi.
Wallace was disappointed when Hamlin was not low, as they rushed side by side to hold Elliott behind them and allow them to participate in races for victory.
Wallace's feelings intensified within a week, when Hamlin said on his podcast that he did not need to apologize.
“That's exactly how it was, as it were, for the curtains, just continuing to go, continued to add fuel to the fire,” said Wallace. “I hate that this has come to this point, and I expressed my dissatisfaction with Denny today, and he completely respected it.”
Shane van Gisbergen will join Tyler Reddik in the front row for the play -off race on Sunday.
Hamlin told reporters on Saturday that he thought that everything was fine between them, especially after Wallace came and gave Hamlin Short hug for Pit Road After the race last weekend.
“To be honest, I don’t know that he was upset,” said Hamlin. “If I am honest, I listened to him after the race (interview), and when I heard him said that these were two guys, and he came up and shook my hand, but he did it, I honestly did not know that he was upset. But I had to at least check with him to make sure, and this is on me. ”
Round 8 Fields will be installed on the Charlotte Motor Speudway -Road.
Hamlin said that until Saturday there was no meeting, because he wanted to make it face to face.

“It was a good, mental conversation,” said Wallace. “This came from the place of the world. It went better than I thought. He shared his side of things, and I shared his own, and we had a common language. ”

Bell said about receiving an apology from Wallace: “I appreciated that he accurately recognized it. This is what is. ”
So the apologies are important?
“Absolutely,” said Bell. “I am a big supporter of apology. Actions subsequently have a meaning equally, but apologies are absolutely important. ”
