TORONTO — Forward Jaylen Brown scored 30 points, including three of four from behind the 3-point line, to help the Boston Celtics thwart a desperate comeback attempt by the Toronto Raptors in a 121-113 win Sunday.
Brandon Ingram's 30 points paced the Raptors, who trailed by 23 early in the third quarter and took the lead on Jamal Sheed's layup with 10:39 left in the game at Scotiabank Arena.
The teams were tied 102-102 when Payton Pritchard hit a 3-pointer with 7:15 left to give Boston (15-9) its fifth straight win. The Raptors (15-10) lost their third straight game.

Raptors Scottie Barnes and Sandro Mamukelashvili scored 18 and 14 points, respectively. Barnes also had 11 rebounds and eight assists.
The guests took the lead with a score of 10:3. They held an eight-point lead after the first quarter and extended their lead to 77-59 at the half.
The Raptors pulled to within four points on 3-pointers by Ochai Agbaji and Sheed with 1:47 left in the third quarter.
The Celtics scored 20 of their 47 points on 3-point attempts. Toronto scored only nine of their 22 points.
