Paul isn't the only member of his family with a 2025 banner: Patrick Paul, Chris' younger brother by three years, is in his second season in the NFL. Patrick, a second-round draft pick out of Houston in 2024, played all 17 games as the team's rookie. Miami Dolphins last season. He started three games, but Paul became Miami's starting left tackle this season and quickly developed into one of the best young offensive tackles in the NFL.
The Paul brothers will reunite as rivals on Sunday. Even though they won't be on the field together, it will be a special moment for them.

In terms of records, it was a tough year for Washington and Miami. Both are 3-7 heading into Sunday and need a win. But for these two brothers, this year was unforgettable. This also comes at the perfect time for Chris. His rookie contract expires after the season. He will get a big promotion. He has proven to be a capable starter and will be just 27 when free agency begins in March.
