Denver Broncos Wide receiver Pat Bryant was carried off the field in a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars after taking a brutal hit that was terrifying to watch.
Bryant was trying to catch the ball with just seconds left in the game at Empower Field when Jaguars cornerback Montarik Brown flew in and crashed into it to break it up.
You could hear how badly Bryant was hurt as the broadcast showed the crash of his helmet and pads as he stepped onto the turf.

Bryant remained on the field after the game and barely moved as Broncos coaches ran out to watch him on the turf.
After several minutes of assessment, Bryant was loaded onto a stretcher and taken off the field. There was obvious concern for Bryant at the stadium, and it was later reported that he was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Broncos head coach Sean Payton, speaking after his first loss in 12 games, gave an update on Bryant, saying he “has some movement” in his limbs, which was “encouraging,” according to 9News' Mike Klis.
Of course, every time a player is loaded onto a stretcher, thoughts of the worst immediately come to mind. Luckily, Bryant's visit to the hospital was just to make sure everything was okay.

The Broncos moved to 12-3 after losing at home, a 34-20 loss to a red-hot Jaguars team that had now won six games in a row.
At 11-4, the Jaguars remain one win ahead of the team. Houston Texans for leading the AFC South, although they will likely head to the playoffs one way or another.
Meanwhile, the Broncos have already hoisted the Vince Lombardi Trophy by winning 12 games this season and posting the best record in the AFC to date. The New England Patriots alone can reach 12 wins this week if they beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football.

Bryant finished the game with five catches for 42 yards. He has 27 catches for 347 yards and one touchdown this season in a loaded Broncos receiver room.
