Bon Iver Gets His Own Pantone Colour │ Exclaim!

Brother Green was all over the place last year, and Taylor Swift half-heartedly tried to bring “Showgirl Orange” to life this year. Now the pop star's latest color has arrived: Good Iver and Pantone have released a new shade FABLE Salmon.

The color is, of course, taken from Bon Iver's 2025 album cover. SAND, TALE (which this might be his last albumaccording to songwriter Justin Vernon).

“I have always thought that underneath our skin, no matter what the pigment, it is the color of salmon belly when it is cut,” Vernon said in a statement. “I always thought about the humanity of it… SABER is darkness – and the choice to go into darkness.

There's a whole product line coordinate with color, including mugs, notepads, keyboards and tote bags. Vernon said of salmon branding: “Every band, punk or pop, is in a commercial, capitalist space. The old punk bands were the best brand builders of all time. Black Flag has the best logo ever. I thought, “Let's build on this.”
