Bobo Bay Heads to Steam Next Fest This February With Playable Demo

Get ready to jet ski in Bobo Bay

NewFutureKids announced that Bobo Bay will be part of Steam Next Fest this February, giving players around the world the opportunity to experience the cozy virtual pet simulation with a free playable demo. Starting February 23rd, Steam users will be able to jump into the demo to explore the game's creature raising system and get a preview of what the full version will offer ahead of its planned Q2 2026 launch.

Along with the Steam Next Fest presentation, the studio also released a new trailer highlighting one of Bobo Bay's newest features, JetSki. The trailer gives a broader look at the game's vibrant world, charming creatures, and relaxed island setting, while also highlighting the important role exploration plays in the overall experience.

During the event, players will be able to download the demo directly from the Steam platform. The demo introduces the core gameplay systems, including collecting and caring for adorable creatures known as Bobos. Players can evolve their Bobos as they grow, combine their traits through mixing and customizing, and personalize them with accessories. Training is another key to allowing Bobo to engage in races and brawls that reward progress and experimentation.

The demo also includes an excursion mode where players can rent a jet ski and explore procedurally generated islands. These rides involve solving light puzzles, uncovering hidden secrets, and collecting loot while keeping an eye on your jet ski's fuel supply. Early progression systems are included to give a clear idea of the depth planned for the full game.

During Steam Next Fest, players will be able to try a demo of Bobo Bay for free and add the game to their wishlist in anticipation of its full release.
