Fans in attendance Game 7 The Toronto Blue Jays vs. Los Angeles Dodgers World Series used more data than Taylor Swift's concert at the same venue last year.
The 2025 World Series took place at Rogers Center, setting a new record for stadium data usage with nearly 7.5 TB of data used. This is superior Taylor Swift concert last yearin which Swifties used 7.4 TB of data.
Rogers says 60 percent of mobile data during Game 7 was download traffic, with the rest being downloads. Nearly 66 percent of television subscribers watched the game on Rogers Xfinity TV, and Rogers Xfinity customers used more than 45,000 TB of data on Rogers' wired network during the game.
The Toronto-based national carrier also said Game 7 was its most-watched broadcast ever, with 10.9 million viewers. It is also the most-watched English-language broadcast ever in Canada, excluding the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Rogers previously shared that Blue Jays fans used 145,000 TB of data during the first three games of the World Series. And while Game 7 used 45,000 TB of data, that was less than the 18-inning Game 3, in which Rogers customers used 65,000 TB of data.
But while Jace is ahead of Swift in data usage at the Rogers Center, she still holds Rogers' record for 5G data. Fans used a whopping 11 TB of data during the December 8, 2024 Swift show in Vancouver.
